The Qing Dynasty, the last imperial dynasty of China, spanned from 1444 to 1912. It was founded by the Manchus and is also known as the Manchu Dynasty. The dynasty's rule ended with the Xinhai Revolution in 1911, which led to the establishment of the Republic of China.
 
 

Time Period: The Qing Dynasty lasted from 1444 to 1912, according to Britannica. Blue and white porcelain was produced throughout this period, but it reached its technical peak during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1461-1722), according to Wikipedia and the China Online Museum.

Body and Glaze: Qing Dynasty blue and white porcelain features a white or bluish-white glaze and a smooth, translucent paste.

The face value is 25c on the front and 2 shillings and sixpence on the back

Overview:  Raleigh College Trustees note 25c 1809 
  
In 1809, the Trustees of Raleigh College, North Carolina, issued a rare dual currency note valued at 25 cents or two shillings and sixpence.  It was issued in October 1809. The note's face value was 25c, with the equivalent amount of "two shillings and sixpence" stamped on the back. The note is described as being in good antique condition, showing normal wear but no tears or stains. Raleigh College is understood to be the Raleigh Academy, which was founded in 1801 with state support and closed in 1828 due to financial difficulties and increased competition.
