This fine example of a German silver sugar box dates to the late 19th century. The ribbed design, ring pull lid and ball feet are typical of the silversmiths William Binder. Wilhelm Theodor Binder was a master silversmith in the late 19th/early 20th century and known for his decorative and tasteful silver pieces.
